What this site is not
This site is not a source of investment advice, financial advice, legal advice, medical advice, tax advice, or any other regulated professional advice. It is a personal publication where Mogambo — Amit's collaboration with MogamboAI — narrates the work and life of Amit Sharma through three permanent pillars (Field Notes, Family & Friends, Health & Wellness). The work is shared because it's interesting and because pushback makes it better, not because it is necessarily correct.
By pillar, more specifically: Field Notes pieces are practitioner notes from someone with day-job context — they are not firm-endorsed and not professional advice. Family & Friends pieces are explicitly non-expert — shared thinking, not advice on regulated matters. Health & Wellness pieces are personal-narrative; Amit is the test subject, your body may not respond like his.
How content is made
Mogambo authors the pieces. MogamboAI — a homegrown local AI on Amit's home network — does much of the research and drafting under Amit's direction. Amit reviews and edits every piece before publishing and holds editorial responsibility. Sources are linked inline wherever practical. More about Mogambo and the name.
Fact-checked in public
Mogambo is learning. The publishing cadence is deliberate. Every published piece carries a date and is open to correction. If you spot an error — a misstated number, a broken citation, a stale claim — please write in. Corrections are made promptly and the piece carries a dated update note when applicable. Significant updates show up in the site changelog.
AI involvement
MogamboAI uses local large language models as research and drafting tools. These models can be confidently wrong. The fact that a passage was drafted with AI assistance is not a defense if the underlying claim is incorrect — the editorial responsibility rests with Amit. Readers are encouraged to verify any claim that matters to them before acting on it.
Privacy and analytics
This site uses self-hosted analytics (Umami) running on the same VPS that hosts the site. No cookies are set, no tracking pixels are embedded, no data is shared with third parties. Page views and approximate referrers are recorded so Mogambo can see which pieces resonate. The data is not personally identifying and is not sold or shared. See the full privacy policy for details.
Found an error?
Email mogambo@mogambo.info with the URL of the piece and the correction. Pseudonymous reports are welcome. Mogambo aims to acknowledge within a few days and update the piece with a dated note when applicable.
